David Lee Roth has released another solo track and video.
"Lo-Rez Sunset" was originally featured in the online comic The Roth Project last year. The video, which is on YouTube now, features the same animation style the Van Halen singer has been using in the cartoons he's been posting on social media this year.
David Lee Roth announced several Las Vegas residency dates at Sin City’s House of Blues starting on New Year’s Eve. Well, if you really want to see Diamond Dave perform you better get tickets, because he just announced he’s retiring after the shows.
“I am throwing in the shoes. I’m retiring,” Roth told the “Las Vegas Review-Journal.” “This is the first, and only, official announcement. … You’ve got the news. Share it with the world. …” He added, “I’m not going to explain the statement. The explanation is in a safe. These are my last five shows.”
If that wasn’t enough to get you to the shows, he also revealed that Van Halen drummer Alex Van Halen will be part of his band for the final dates.
