Wolfgang Van Halen will will spend the next four to six weeks with a protective boot on his left foot after spraining his ankle while stepping off his tour bus Wednesday in Huntsville, Alabama.
Naturally, he took to social media to let everyone know why he would be performing sitting down Wednesday night, even referencing Dave Grohl, who performed on a custom-made throne after breaking his leg a few years ago.
This is the second injury a member of Mammoth WVH has sustained in the last few weeks.
Earlier in the month, guitarist Frank Sidoris and his wife were hurt in a car accident, leaving the band to perform as a four-piece.
Mammoth WVH play their last two shows of the year, one last night in Knoxville, Tennessee and Saturday in Atlanta.
