Sammy Hagar Wraps Up His Vegas Residency and is heading to Texas!

Sammy Hagar has recapped his six-night residency at The Strat in Las Vegas with an online post.

He says, "It doesn’t get much better than that to close out our first residency run!

"All the years playing with Mikey, Mona, Vic and Bro [David Lauser] came out like a wave of synchronicity. No set list needed as we rode the jam from 'Turn Up the Music,' to AC/DC’s 'Problem Child' (a highlight of the night for me and one I haven't played in at least 20 years) to the Montrose song 'Make it Last' (the second song I ever wrote in my life!) and 'Be Still' a new song we performed live for the first time (minus Jason Bonham) but yes -- new album [fromThe Circle] coming soon!...

"Thanks to my friends at The Strat for bringing the party vibe to the other desert. And thanks to the Redheads, we’ve been on this ride a long time and we’re still just gettin’ started. We’ll be back in 2022!"

Among the guests who joined Hagar and The Circle and The Wabos over the six nights were Bob Weir, Rick Springfield and Ratt's Stephen Pearcy, and Bryan Adams, who is doing a Vegas residency at the Wynn, stopped by the afterparty on Saturday.

See Sammy Hagar and the Circle, Friday, December 3rd at Billy Bob's Texas!
