40 Years Ago Today 'Fast Times At Ridgemont High' Opened In Theaters

It was 40 years ago today when Fast Times at Ridgemont High, was released in theaters. It's an American coming-of-age comedy film written by Cameron Crowe, adapted from his 1981 book of the same name. Crowe went undercover at Clairemont High School in San Diego and wrote about his experiences. This was a biggie for me because I graduated high school in 1982, and this movie hit very close to home.

The soundtrack is also filled with classics from Jackson Browne, Joe Walsh, Don Henley, Don Felder, Billy Squier, Sammy Hagar, Stevie Nicks, Jimmy Buffet and others.

Here's a few of my favorite scenes...
