Released on this day in 1971, Imagine is the second solo studio album from John Lennon, and considered the most popular of his solo works, and the title track regarded as one of his finest songs. In 1972, a film was released to accompany the album which featured John and Yoko Ono at Tittenhurst Park and in New York City working on the album. It included many tracks from the album and some additional material from Ono's 1971 albumFly.
