Born on this day in 1953, Malcolm Mitchell Young, the Australian musician, songwriter (older brother to Angus), best known as a co-founder, rhythm guitarist, backing vocalist, and songwriter for AC/DC, would have turned 70. Except for a brief absence in 1988, he was with the band from its November 1973 beginning until retiring in 2014 due to health reasons. Sadly, we lost Malcolm on November 18, 2017, at the age of 64 after a battle with dementia.
