Paul McCartney wrapped up the year by answering questions from fans on his website.
Among the more interesting queries were if he would ever release a soundcheck album featuring some of the covers he does before a show, to which he said, "It’s a thought! We have the ‘jams’ -- we always start the soundcheck with a made-up piece, and there’s a lot of them. So, we might go through those and do something someday."
Asked if there is anyone he'd like to sing with, he said, "Bob Dylan keeps coming up in my mind, but I don’t know if we’ll ever get 'round to it."
But then asked if there is anything left in his musical bucket list he said, "I don’t think so. I’ve been very lucky."
And speaking of music, he was asked about the songs he wrote for a stage adaptation of It’s a Wonderful Life. He said, "Musicals are difficult things to put together, but I think it may be shaping up at last. So, hopefully you’ll get to hear the songs."
In other McCartney news, he was part of the TV video package last week paying tribute to Barry Gibb who received a Kennedy Center Honor.
He said he loves The Bee Gees' song "How Deep Is Your Love" off the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, adding that he should have written it.
