Foghat Reportedly Almost Lost Their Hit Song "Slow Ride" During Blackout: According to one online host, Foghat came super close to almost losing the recording of their classic hit “Slow Ride.” The tune, which Professor Of Rock says “changes speed and climaxes near the end… to mimic the act of S-E-X,” was almost lost to technology went the studio’s lights went out. “The song came from a basement jam session where the power went off and they nearly lost the recording,” said the Professor. Thankfully, the band was able to save it and became one of the British band’s biggest hits.
