Green Day have a new album, Saviors, due out on Friday. But you might not get to hear much of it this summer.
When their stadium tour with The Smashing Pumpkins and Rancid was announced last year they said the trek would mark the 20th anniversary of American Idiot and the 30th anniversary of Dookie. Today (Wednesday) they announced they're playing both albums in full.
The band's announcement also promises "a bunch of your other favorites new and old all summer long." And with Dookie clocking in at around 40 minutes and American Idiot around 58 minutes, their sets will have to be well over two hours cram in those extra favorites.
The Saviors tour starts August 5th in Flushing, New York, and comes to Globe Life Field in Arlington on September 11th.
