KISS might have reached the end of the road…but Gene Simmons hasn’t. The bassist has announced his solo group, The Gene Simmons Band, will make their first appearance in six years this spring.
The band, which also includes guitarists Brent Woods and Zach Throne plus drummer Brian Tichy, will play April 26th at Sao Paolo, Brazil’s Summer Breeze festival. The last time the band played together was 2018, when they toured the world. In previous appearances Simmons played KISS material as expected… but also surprised fans with music from The Beatles, Little Richard and Chuck Berry (as well as 1978 solo album).
