Rod Stewart has turned to his wife, Penny Lancaster, to make an appearance in the video for his cover of "Pennies from Heaven" off his new album, Swing Fever, which he collaborated on with former Squeeze keyboard player Jools Holland.
While Stewart sings the song backed by Holland and his band, Penny takes to the dance floor about three-quarters of the way through. It ends with Rod’s arm around his wife as confetti rains down and his three female background singers hold a banner that says, “In Rod We Trust.”
Swing Fever will be released on February 23rd, and Stewart and Holland will celebrate its release with an in-store at HMV on Oxford Street in London.
