Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee has revealed details -- including some graphic photos -- of an operation he had on his right hand three weeks ago.
He warns his Instagram followers the pictures could "wreck your lunch." He says that the operation "addressed two debilitating issues for me as a drummer-keyboard player and pretty much everything to do with my right hand."
He also explains the end of his recovery period was "monumental" for him "to the point of tears," because he now has his "life back and my money makers." He adds that he's now able to twirl his sticks again [which] he hasn't been able to do in a few years "because of the Dupytrens Contracture and carpal tunnel issues that are now gone!"
He also expresses his gratitude to his doctor and medical staff, and has a message for his fellow drummers: "It's possible to fix [this problem]!"
Motley Crue are back on the road starting May 3rd in Atlantic City, New Jersey....so far, no Texas dates have been announced.
WARNING: The following photos are indeed graphic!!!
