An hilarious video of the late David Bowie talking about the first time he saw Pink Floyd just as David Gilmour walks into the room recently surfaced on X / Twitter. It's definitely worth checking out.
Bowie says his parents took him to the Marquee Club in London to see the Floyd when he was "six or seven," but Gilmour doesn't quite buy it, saying he couldn't have been that young, after which Bowie admits, "Alright, I was around 10."
The video was shot on May 29th, 2006 when Bowie joined Gilmour at London's Royal Albert Hall to sing Floyd's "Arnold Layne" and "Comfortably Numb." It turned out to be Bowie's last UK performance.
You can see it on Gilmour's 2007 video release, Remember That Night.
Bowie died on January 10th, 2016 from liver cancer. He was 69.
