Mark Knopfler has released “Watch Me Gone,” the second song off his new album, One Deep River, which will be out on April 12th.
And, prior to the new album, as we previously reported, Knopfler will release a re-recording of his 1983 instrumental "Going Home (Theme From Local Hero)" to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust and Teen Cancer America.
It features 60 artists — including Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Roger Daltrey, Peter Frampton, David Gilmour, Alex Lifeson, Bruce Springsteen, Ringo Starr, Sting, Joe Walsh, Ronnie Wood, Rick Nielsen, and Brian May.
It will be released on March 15th as a CD single, as well as a deluxe CD+Blu-ray set.
One Deep River is Knopfler's first album since 2018's Down the Road Wherever.
