Jeff Lynne, who is not a road warrior by any stretch of the imagination, has announced his final tour.
Jeff Lynne's ELO -- The Over and Out Tour -- will start August 24th in Palm Desert, California with 27 shows through October 25th at The Forum in Los Angeles, with a stop at The American Airlines Center in Dallas on October 18th.

Stone Temple Pilots and Live are teaming up for a summer tour where they'll mark the 30th anniversaries of two number-one albums.
The Jubliee Tour will have STP do a set heavy on tracks from Purple, which spent three weeks at number-one in June and July 1994, while Live will concentrate on tracks from their album Throwing Copper, which spent a week at number-one in May 1995 -- more than a year after it was released. The two bands will rotate who closes each night.
Soul Asylum and Our Lady Peace will spit opening duties. Tickets go on sale Friday. The tour stops in Dallas on Friday August 23rd at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas.
