Born on this day in Oak Cliff in 1951, Jimmie Lawrence Vaughan, the American blues rock guitarist, singer, and older brother of Texas blues guitar legend Stevie Ray Vaughan, turns 73. A founding member of the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jimmie has also performed alongside such greats as Eric Clapton, Robert Cray, and BB King.
