Born on this day in 1960, Stephen Maynard Clark, the English musician, best known as the principal songwriter and lead guitarist for Def Leppard, would have turned 64. Sadly, we lost Steve on January 8th, 1991, when died in his sleep at home in London from alcohol poisoning. He was 30. In 2019, Clark was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Def Leppard.
