Happy Birthday! Carlos Alomar

Born on this day in 1951, Carlos Alomar, the Puerto Rican guitarist, composer, and arranger, best known for his work with David Bowie from the mid-1970s to the early 2000s, turns 73. Alomar played on more Bowie albums than any musician in history. He's responsible for some of Bowie's greatest licks including "Golden Years," "Young Americans" and Bowie's first #1 song "Fame," which he co-wrote with David Bowie and John Lennon.
