Ringo Starr's Country Album Due Out in October

Back in February we reported on Ringo Starr working on a new album.

A longtime fan of country music, having released a country-flavored collection in 1970 with his second album, Beaucoups of Blues, he's following it up 54 years later.

He tells USA Today, "I’m working on it with someone very special – T Bone Burnett. He’s doing stuff in Nashville and he comes to L.A. and it’s all working out. He came to me with nine songs. It won’t be out until October, at least.”

Until then, Ringo will be on the road with his All Star Band starting May 22nd in Las Vegas with a nearby stop in Austin on June 9th.

And....in tribute to the Fab Four...Blue Oyster Cult have posted a video of them performing "If I Fell" from A Hard Day's Night.

With guitarist Buck Dharma on lead vocals, it was captured in April 2016 at Red Studios Hollywood while they were working on a video for the 40th anniversary release of their fourth studio album, 1976's Agents of Fortune.
