Neil Young, Paul McCartney, Loverboy and Styx In Music News:

ALL SORTS OF MUSIC NEWS:

Neil Young released plenty of material from 1969 on his Archives Volume One box set in 2009, but he's apparently found more in his vault.

Early Daze is a new Neil Young and Crazy Horse 10-song collection of mostly unreleased tracks from 1969 that's due out on June 28th.

These include unreleased versions of "Come On Baby Let’s Go Downtown," "Winterlong," "Wonderin'" and "Helpless," as well as a take on "Down by the River" with alternate vocals.

Young has shared one track from the collection -- "Everybody's Alone," which was first released in a different mix on Archives Volume One. Check it out on YouTube.

Paul McCartney has shared a live version of "Hi, Hi, Hi" from his new archival album, One Hand Clapping, which will be out June 14th. Check it out below.

Loverboy have shared a version of "Workin' for the Weekend" from their upcoming Live in '82 album, due out June 7th. Watch the video below.

Terry Gowan will be the new bassist for Styx! Gowan takes the place of Ricky Phillips, who previously shared that he was leaving the band in March, after 21 years. “It is within an honor and somewhere beyond a dream come true to be joining JYTommyChuckWill, and my brother Lawrence [and] Todd…in taking on the mantle as the new bassist of the legendary STYX. Here’s to many years ahead on the Styx adventure!” Gowan shares. The full story is here courtesy of Styx's Official X Account.
