Peter Frampton Working on New Music and a Documentary

Before Peter Frampton accepts his election for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in October, he'll be keeping busy with at least two projects -- a documentary and a new album.

Frampton is heading over to his native England in June to do some filming for the documentary, and he's still writing for the album.

He also has an acoustic-based blues album in the can, but still no word on when it will be released.

Frampton's last album was Frampton Forgets the Words, a collection of Instrumental covers, in 2021.

And, as we reported on Tuesday, Frampton will receive the Les Paul Spirit Award on June 9th at the Gibson Garage in Nashville, where he lives. The award is presented by the Les Paul Foundation, whose mission is to honor and share the life, spirit and legacy of Les Paul, who would have turned 109 on June 9th.
