Pete Townshend Releasing a Massive Box Set Next Month

Pete Townshend will release a massive box set next month on CD and digitally.

Pete Townshend - Live in Concert 1985-2001 brings together all of his live solo recordings that were only available through his website, Eel Pie.

With the albums being out of print for two decades, the set contains expanded deluxe packaging with new art by longtime Townshend collaborator Richard Evans, sleeve notes by band archivist Matt Kent, a new interview with Townshend, and rare photos and memorabilia in a hard-backed book.

Among the shows included in the set are:

  • Pete Townshend’s Deep End -- live at Brixton Academy in London recorded on November 1st and 2nd, 1985 and featuring Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour
  • A full rendition of his Psychoderelict album and more recorded at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York on August 7th, 1993

And songs included on these albums are:
