Dennis DeYoung: NOT the Best of Times...

Dennis DeYoung has called out his former Styx bandmate Tommy Shaw. Tommy had previously shared that he's given up any resentment toward Dennis and was “honored to play” the song “The Best Of Times,” which Dennis had written. Dennis apparently didn’t take the kind words well, hitting back in a post to Facebook. “A quarter of a century after the fact Tommy Shaw has an epiphany…Well thanks, T, that's mighty kind of you…I sure wish you would have invited me back this tour to sing this one, it is one of my favorites…there's a bunch more that youze guys are playing that I could sing and play as well, like ‘Mr. Roboto.’” The band famously refused to play “Mr Roboto,” written by Dennis, for many years, though they added it back to their setlist in 2018 after fans asked them to. Dennis, meanwhile, was kicked out of the band in 1999.

Check out his original post about it here on Dennis' official Facebook page.

Reminder.....Styx and Foreigner rock The Bo and Them Bash this Friday night at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas.
