Bob Dylan Releasing Massive Box Set in September

Bob Dylan fans are getting a massive box set in September. Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings are set to release “The 1974 Live Recordings” on September 20th…and its a hefty box set. Its going to feature every single professionally recorded show Dylan put on in 1974. Yes…all of them. That means the box set will include 431 live tracks…417 of which were previously unreleased. And you better make some space in your home if you want to buy it…those 431 tracks will be spread across 27 CDs. Dylan’s 1974 tour was a big deal at the time…as it was the first time he had toured live in eight years! It also reunited him with his long-time backing group, The Band.

With the news of this collection, Dylan has released a performance of “Forever Young” from the afternoon show at the Seattle Center Coliseum in Seattle, Washington on February 9th, 1974.
