Sammy Hagar Gets Ready to Kick Off 'Best of All Worlds Tour'

Sammy Hagar has gotten the whole band together for his “Best Of All Worlds” tour. It was already known he roped in Joe SatrianiMichael Anthony and Jason Bonham. Well it turns out he was also able to get multi-instrumentalist Rai Thistlethwayte to join in on the fun. Thistlethwayte has been a part of Satriani’s touring band for many years…so coming along for the ride isn’t too big of a jump for him! As we previously shared…don’t expect Alex Van Halen to make an appearance. “Best of All Worlds” tour on July 13th in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Sammy Hagar has posted a video of himself, Michael AnthonyJason Bonham and Joe Satriani talking about The Best of All Worlds tour, which starts Saturday in West Palm Beach, Florida.

While Sammy and Michael agree that they're most looking forward to playing Van Halen's "5150," Sammy says he's "nervous about this set list."

Sammy Hagar's 'Best of All Worlds Tour" stops at Dos Equis Pavillion in Dallas on August 22nd.

Sammy Hagar will kick off his Best of All Worlds tour with Joe SatrianiMichael Anthony and Jason Bonham this week, promising to focus on a mix of classics and deep cuts from his time with Van Halen.

Despite the nature of the tour, fans shouldn’t expect to see any guest appearances from Alex Van Halen along the way — but it isn’t for a lack of trying on Hagar’s part.
