UPDATE TO BELOW STORY....
Sammy Hagar started The Best of All Worlds tour Saturday at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Following a career-spanning video montage, which ended with him and Michael Anthony accepting Van Halen's induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Hagar turned in a 21-song set list that started with "Good Enough," the first song on his first Van Halen album, 1986's 5150, and ended with "When it's Love" off his second album with the band, 1988's OU812.
In between were 13 other VH songs, including three from the David Lee Roth-era -- "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" with Michael Anthony on vocals, "Panama" and "Jump."
Hagar also did six songs from his solo career and one from Chickenfoot, his band with Anthony and Joe Satriani, who is part of this tour along with drummer Jason Bonham and keyboardist Rai Thistlethwayte from Satriani's band.
The Best of All Worlds tour, which Hagar has nicknamed the "Thank You" tour, moves to the Atlanta area tomorrow, and the tour stops in Dallas at Dos Equis Pavillion on August 22nd.

Sammy Hagar finally starts The Best of All Worlds tour tomorrow in West Palm Beach, Florida, eight months and a day after announcing it.
With Alex Van Halen and David Lee Roth dragging their feet on a tribute to Eddie Van Halen, Sammy felt the time was right for a Van Halen-centric tour.
Coming 20 years after he last toured with the band, he'll be joined by Michael Anthony and Jason Bonham from The Circle, along with guitarist Joe Satriani from his previous band, Chickenfoot, and, from Satriani's band, Australian keyboardist Rai Thistlethwayte.
Sammy says they'll delve deep into the "Van Hagar" catalog as well as doing some of his solo material, and that of Montrose and Chickenfoot. He and Michael even say they may do some songs from the Roth era.
Sammy Hagar's 'Best of All Worlds Tour" stops in Dallas at Dos Equis Pavillion on August 22nd with special guest Loverboy.
