A meeting we’re surprised never took place before happened in Zagreb, Croatia on Saturday. Bruce Dickinson, who was doing a solo show there, finally met Paul D’Anno, the singer he replaced in Iron Maiden 43 years ago this September.
D'Anno has been living in Zagreb while he undergoes rehab on a knee that was operated on back in 2022. He and his current manager Stjepan Juras visited Dickinson backstage and Juras posted a photo on his Facebook page. Juras apologized for not sharing any video, but wrote that they "need to leave something for an upcoming documentary film."
He offered up "kudos to Paul and Bruce," who he called "truly living legends!"
Check out the original post about it here courtesy of the Facebook page of Stjepan Juras.
