Remembering Chris Cornell On His 60th Birthday

Born on this day in 1964, Christopher John Cornell the American musician, singer, and songwriter. He was best known as the lead vocalist for Soundgarden and Audioslave, would have turned 60. Cornell was also known for his numerous solo works and soundtrack contributions, and as the founder and frontman for Temple of the Dog.

Sadly, we lost Chris in May of 2017 when he took his own life after a gig in Detroit. I had the pleasure of meeting Chris in 2009. As you could imagine he was very kind and soft-spoken.

Today, in honor of his birthday, check out his cover of the Guns N' Roses classic "Patience"
