When Sammy Hagar was putting together his band for The Best of All Worlds tour, he wrestled with whether to include Circle guitarist Vic Johnson alongside Joe Satriani, seeing as how he already had that band's two other members joining him -- Michael Anthony and Jason Bonham.
With the tour leaning heavily on Hagar's time in Van Halen, he tells us he hired Joe Satriani who he played in Chickenfoot with, because he "knows everything about music."
The tour stops at Dos Equis Pavillion in Dallas on August 22nd.
