Journey's Jonathan Cain Files Another Lawsuit Against Bandmate Neil Schon

The infighting continues in Journey. Keyboardist Jonathan Cain has filed a new lawsuit against lead guitarist Neal Schon because of a credit card. According to the lawsuit, Schon allegedly maxed out an American Express card with a $1-million limit and went past a $1,500-per-night hotel allowance. The court papers also accuse Schon of chartering private jets and hiring a friend as a security guard. There’s an extra level of awkwardness in this situation; the band’s currently touring, but Cain says in the lawsuit that “onstage performance is, at the moment, one of the only aspects of the business that has not suffered.” Doing “Open Arms” has got to be more challenging at this point, but you know that “Separate Ways” rocks.

Journey, together with Def Leppard and The Steve Miller Band, will perform at Globe Life Field in Arlington on August 12th.
