The soothing vocal stylings of John Lennon brought peace to a heated moment last Friday at the Summer Olympics in Paris.
During a women's beach volleyball match between Brazil and Canada, tempers flared with the two women from each team arguing at the net.
The referee wasn't having much luck getting in between the teams so the venue's soundperson cued up "Imagine" and peace was restored.
The player's snarls turned to smiles and the audience started singing along.
Brazil won the match and the Gold Medal.
