Christine McVie Estate Auctioning off her Instruments, Awards, and More

More than 650 items from the estate of Fleetwood Mac singer and keyboardist Christine McVie are headed to the auction block.

Julien's Auctions will handle the sale on October 16th and 17th at Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville and online at JuliensAuctions.com. All of the proceeds will benefit MusiCares and other charities.

Among the items going under the gavel are:

  • Hammond XK-5 organ she played on stage -- estimated at $6000 to $8000
  • Yamaha CLP-470PE digital piano - $3000 - $5000
  • Fleetwood Mac Tusk chord sheets and unknown handwritten lyrics that read "Call me - on line number two, I just sitting here waiting for you - I got the music up loud" -- $800 - $1200
  • Two set lists from the 2018-2019 An Evening with Fleetwood Mac tour with handwritten annotations -- $600 - $800
  • Fine art including a watercolor painting by Edward Reginald Frampton titled "St. Cecilia," the patron saint of music and musicians in the Roman Catholic Church who is frequently depicted playing the organ, that was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1917 -- $120,000 - $150,000
  • MusiCares 2018 Person of the Year award -- $1500 - $2500
  • 1998 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame statue -- $10,000 - $15,000
  • 1977 Grammy nomination plaque for Album of the Year for Rumours -- $2000 -$4000
  • Plus jewelry, and stage-, tour- and event-worn articles of clothing.

Christine McVie died from a stroke on November 30th, 2022 at the age of 79. She had also been suffering from metastatic cancer of unknown primary origin.
