Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones May Have to Call his Lawyer..

Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones may have to call his lawyer over an incident this past March in Knoxville, Tennessee.

He was there to perform at the Big Ears Festival when he was approached outside the Oliver Hotel by Giovanni Arnold, a professional autograph seeker.

He declined to sign and when Arnold persisted, Jones's bodyguard, Wesley Powell of Axis Security, pushed him away.

When Arnold followed them into the lobby, Powell slugged him, knocking him to the floor.

According to the police report, "[Powell] stated that he was in fear for the safety of his client, so he open hand slapped the victim with his left hand then proceeded to push him out of the front door of the hotel allowing him to escort his client to safety.

"I spoke to the listed witnesses who were present in the hotel lobby at the time of the incident. All witnesses gave a similar account, that the victim approached the suspect in a seemingly hostile manner and stated that the suspect made contact with the victim when the safety of the suspect’s client appeared to be in jeopardy..."

Arnold, who was involved in an altercation in May 2018 following a Met Gala after-party in New York in which he took legal action against Cardi B and Offset, tells LedZepNews.com that he plans to take legal action.

Like everything these days, the entire altercation was captured on video, which you can see below.
