FURTHER UPDATE TO BELOW STORIES....
Journey singer Arnel Pineda has followed up his social media post from earlier this week in which he apologized for his performance at the Rock in Rio festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on September 15th.
In that post he said if a million people negatively responded to his post he would leave the band.
Well, we have no idea how many did, but apparently he received more positive comments and he's staying put as he points out in a rambling, and at times, emotional followup post.
He goes onto say, "Bottom line, good has won..." And, he has a message for those who posted the video in which his vocals were off, saying, "I'd also like to thank the ones who relentlessly exploited my imperfections for your own selfish intentions. Remember, our universe is so alive, and it knows how to give back all the time, good and bad. Depends on what we all did from the past, and with God by our side, nothing could ever go wrong."
Journey starts a Japanese tour on October 19th in Osaka, Japan.

UPDATE TO BELOW STORY....
Guitarist Neal Schon, posting on Facebook, says it was headliner Avenged Sevenfiold who were to blame. he claims they limited their use of the PA system, which "means that hardly hardly any sound can get out ... to the audience. It’s a BS move..."
And as for Arnel's statement, Schon posted a video and wrote, "All this absolute garbage fabricated BS about Arnel Pineda. Does this look like nobody had a good time? I’m asking you. All fabricated, owed and bought blogs, BS."
-----------------------------------------------------
Journey singer Arnel Pineda could be having second thoughts about his voice following online comments about his performance earlier this month at the Rock in Rio festival in in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
A professionally filmed video of the show was posted on the Behind the Songs Facebook page and the comments were not flattering, saying he was in "bad voice" and had "severe vocal failure."
Arnel was made aware of this and took to Facebook to say, "No one more than me in this world feels so devastated about this… It's really amazing how one thousand right things you have done will be forgotten just because of THIS...and of all the place it's in Rock in Rio Mentally and emotionally I've suffered already and I'm still suffering...but I’ll be ok."
He added, "So here’s the deal ... I am offering you a chance now (especially those who hated me and never liked me from the very beginning) to simply text GO or STAY right here... and if GO reaches one-million I'm stepping out for good. Are you game folks?"
Close to 3,000 people have commented with the majority saying he should stay.
The band have not commented on Arnel's challenge.
