Dave Mason Cancels Tour Due to Serious Heart Condition

Dave Mason was supposed to play Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas in April, but canceled due to laryngitis.

The show was rescheduled for September 14th, but that show was also cancelled.

Now comes word Dave Mason has pulled the plug on the remainder of his Traffic Jam 2024 tour due to a serious heart condition that requires immediate medical attention.

With no pun intended, the 78-year old singer and guitarist says, “I’m heartbroken to have to cancel these dates, but it's doctor’s orders. I’ll be back, and better than ever, in 2025.”

His doctors expect a full and successful recovery that would allow him to tour next year.

This news comes a week after Mason published his memoir, Only You Know and I Know.
