Stevie Ray Vaughan was born in Dallas, Texas on October 3, 1954. The 'Pride & Joy' of the Lone Star State would go on to become a legendary musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential guitarists in history, with his influence still felt long after his tragic death in 1990. He was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2000, and the Musicians Hall of Fame in 2014, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015.
