Jimmy Page once again seems to be at odds with his London neighbor, singer Robbie Williams.
Previously not pleased with Williams renovating his home because he felt the vibrations would damage his, this latest spat stems from Williams wanting to remove a “fungus-infested” tree on his [Williams] property.
Williams hired tree surgeon Michael Goatly who said the Norway maple contains honey fungus. Williams then contacted town officials to have it removed, but there has been some opposition to his petition.
While Page is not listed in the objection, he did object last year to Williams wanting to take it down.
“There is no explanation as to why this tree need be felled, only a series of photos showing parts of it are damaged,” reads the objection.
“Should there not be a written report that accompanies each proposed felling and what courses of action could be done before the final resort of felling this tree?”
Page needs to get out of the house more.
