Steve Vai has released the second single from his “G3 Reunion Live” album with Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson, “Zeus in Chains.” The live album features full sets from each guitarist, including hits like Satriani’s “Sahara,” Johnson’s “Cliffs of Dover,” and Vai’s “For the Love of God.” The album also features covers of classic Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton songs. “One of my favorite songs to perform live from ‘Inviolate’ is the track ‘Zeus In Chains.’ Strumming those huge distortion-drenched 7-string chords and navigating those flying high melodies is deeply fulfilling,” Vai shares on social media. The “G3 Reunion Live” album comes out on January 31st.
