Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Tom Hamilton will reunite for their first performance together since September 2023 when Tyler ruptured his larynx, forcing the band to retire from the road last year.
They will perform at Tyler's sixth annual Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party on February 2nd at the Hollywood Palladium.
Also on the bill are Billy Idol, Joan Jett, Linda Perry, Matt Sorum, and Nuno Bettencourt.
Proceeds benefit Janie’s Fund, which Tyler founded to aid young women and girls who have survived abuse; and this year it's also raising money for the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the Widows, Orphans, and Disabled Firefighter’s Fund.
“What the Los Angeles community has endured with these wildfires is unthinkable," says Tyler. "Music has healing powers and we hope to bring a moment of joy and levity to our first-responder firefighters and those most affected by the fires. The trauma experienced by the girls we work with is also unthinkable and we will continue to shed light and support the amazing work of Janie’s Fund.”
