Gene Simmons has postponed 17 of the 26 dates on his upcoming 2025 solo tour.
The KISS star's tour, which was set to kick off on April 3 in Anaheim, is now instead slated to begin on May 2 in Peachtree City, Georgia.
As noted by Rock N Roll Experience, Christina Vitaglano, who works for Simmons on his backstage VIP fan experience packages, confirmed that band's April dates and the Texas leg of their May dates have all been postponed "until early 2026."

We told you you could be Gene Simmons' personal assistant for a day...for the low, low price of just $12-thousand. While some KISS fans may see that as a bargain at twice the price, others see it as just another in a long line of moneygrabs for the KISS bassist. Gene, however, sees it differently. In an interview with the "New York Post" Simmons explained, "When I was a kid and went to see shows, I was always curious, ‘What’s it like when they’re in a hotel? What’s it like when the stage is set up? What’s it like being onstage when they’re performing and seeing the audience from the stage?' I decided, ‘You know what, nobody’s ever done it. Why not open the idea to be my personal roadie for the day?'" So what does the "assistant" get? Breakfast with the legend, and "You ride with me to the gig. You can set up amplifiers and drums to your heart’s content. You’re onstage, right offstage to my right. You can video the crowds, whatever. And I pull you onstage to sing a song with me," said Simmons. Whoever signs up to be his "personal assistant" will also receive a bass signed by Simmons.

Dee Snider of Twisted Sister isn't happy that KISS are doing a non-makeup show in Las Vegas in November. He tweeted, "14 months since their last farewell. That may be a new record for them. I can’t believe people still put up with their [crap]. To me it’s insulting.”

KISS are plotting a return to the stage just about two years after their farewell show.
Fans on the band's email list received a notice that the group will perform an "unmasked" show as part of KISS Army Storms Vegas at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, which runs from November 14th through the 16th. The event is a celebration of the fan club's 50th anniversary.
KISS last performed together — wearing makeup — on December 2nd, 2023 at New York City's Madison Square Garden.
The announcement of a one-off show without makeup isn't that surprising, since Gene Simmons repeatedly called that New York City show "the final KISS-in-makeup appearance."
And Simmons post-KISS career is off to a rough start, as he postponed 17 dates on his spring solo tour until next year.
The trek now starts May 2nd in Peachtree City, Georgia and wraps up May 15th in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The shows were reportedly scrapped due to low ticket sales.

Gene Simmons played meteorologist Thursday, giving the weather report on KTTV -- FOX 11 in Los Angeles.
With meteorologist Adam Krueger quoting the KISS songs "Shout it Out Loud" and "Rock and Roll All Nite," Simmons said, "You look much better in real life than you on TV.”
So for those of you in L.A. this weekend, Simmons said, "Friday, it’s going to be a 90% chance of rain, Saturday it’s gonna be 60% sunshine.”
This was not the first time Simmons has done the weather report on L.A. TV. He did the same thing last September on KTLA 5.
You can watch him give Thursday's weather forecast below.

Have you ever wanted to be a roadie for Gene Simmons? Have you ever wanted to spend over $12-thousand in one go? Well then the KISS star has a deal for you! Simmons is offering a special package for his upcoming solo shows, “Personal Assistant and Band Roadie for the Day,” that will set you back $12,495. The tour runs from April 3rd through May 24th, and there’s only one roadie experience being offered per show. After you plunk down the cash, you’ll spend the entire day with Simmons…including meeting him in the morning to go over the pre-show schedule, helping the band set up for the show, attending soundcheck, and grabbing a meal with Simmons himself. You also get to bring along up to three guests, get introduced in the show, get autographs, a KISS-rehearsal used bass autographed by Simmons, and more. One small note…”Tickets to the show are not included as they are sold through the individual venues,” Simmons’ website notes in the fine print.
The Gene Simmons Band will perform at the House of Blues in Dallas on May 22nd.

Gene Simmons says he once had to be talked out of using a swear word as the title of a Kiss song.
"I originally wrote a song called 'Shit' -- 'Doesn't mean shit to me' was the tagline," Simmons told UCR. "Bob Ezrin, who produced that record, said, 'You can't call a song 'Shit.' Wal-Mart won't put it out. So I said, 'How about 'Spit?' 'Doesn't mean spit to me?' Same vibe, different word."
