In celebration of this being Guitar Week, the staff at Consequence.net has compiled its list of "The 100 Best Guitarists of All Time."
In explaining their criteria for their choices, they write, "We surveyed over 100 guitarists to hear their thoughts on who left the largest impact. We looked at old school pioneers and the figures that paved the way for future greats, along with newer guitar heroes who continue to inspire the next generation..."
And it's clear by looking at the Top 10 that each one has been very influential in their style. They are:

- Jeff Beck
