Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will come together as character voices in the 3D animated film inspired by McCartney's 2005 children's book High in the Clouds.
Originally slated to be released in 2015, the story centers on a squirrel looking for the land of Animalia, where animals supposedly live in freedom and without any fear.
"I’ve always loved animated films and this is a hugely important passion project for me," says McCartney. "I can’t wait for the world to see it."
Other celebs who will be lending their voices to the film include Celine Dion, Lionel Richie and Jimmy Fallon.
In development for over 10 years, it will also feature 18 original songs by McCartney. But there's still no word on when it will be released.
