Sammy Hagar, fresh off his nine-date Las Vegas residency, says he's looking to do it again next yet.
He tells Baltimore's 98 Rock, "We're talking about making the deal for next year... I don't like touring. I love playing music, but I can't stand packing my suitcase and moving and moving and moving. And bad hotel rooms, bad food, and not being able to do the show as good as I wanna do it every night. And boy, the residency ... you can't beat it for doing great shows... We changed the set every single night — nine shows and we didn't do the same show twice. A lot of the songs got played more than once, but we changed at least four or five songs every single night. Oh, it was fantastic."
And Sammy tells us the Dolby Live at Park MGM is the perfect size venue.
Hagar hosted the 21st Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic on Friday and Saturday at Keith’s Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Oklahoma.
He says, "Thank you for allowing me to host your 21st wonderful year... Miss you buddy..."
Hagar was good friends with the country singer, who died from cancer on February 5th, 2024 at 62.
