Early REO Speedwagon vocalist Terry Luttrell was involved in a scary automobile accident after participating in this weekend's reunion show at a venue operated by the University of Illinois in Champaign, where the band got their start.
He said he fell asleep on Sunday night and crashed on Interstate 57. "It just happened," Luttrell told The News-Gazette. "I nodded off. I rolled the car over, and I woke up and I was in a cocoon [of airbags]. Unfortunately, it totaled the car."

In more upbeat news, the band's last and most famous singer, Kevin Cronin, has posted a video on Instagram of his son Shane and daughter Holly, accompanied by Holly's boyfriend Michael, doing an a cappella version of Crosby, Stills and Nash's "Helplessly Hoping" for Father's Day.
