Could Metallica be making a visit to Las Vegas' Sphere? An outlet specializing in Vegas news, "Vital Vegas," reports that the band is "ready to ink a deal for a Sphere residency."
The site reports that Metallica "could play Sphere in the fall of 2026" after their scheduled "M72" world tour dates conclude, "but specifics haven't been confirmed or announced yet."
IF it happens, it would make Metallica the first hard rock/heavy metal band to take over the high-tech venue, which has booked shows from such legendary acts as U2, Eagles, Phish and Dead & Company.
