Three members of The Go-Go’s — Jane Wiedlin, Charlotte Caffey and Gina Schock — performed at a private backyard charity concert Saturday in Los Angeles and were joined by a handful of celebrity singers — including Lisa Loeb, Kay Hanley from Letters to Cleo, comedian Margaret Cho, and Jack Black, with former Saturday Night Live cast member Fred Armisen on bass.
Black joined in on “We Got the Beat” and a cover of Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid.” As for where the other two members of The Go-Go’s were — singer Belinda Carlisle is in Europe promoting her new album, Once Upon a Time in California, which will be out Friday, and bassist Kathy Valentine, who lives in London, was in Paris with her daughter over the weekend.
