Billy Ray Cyrus celebrated his 64th birthday with a heartfelt gift from his daughter Miley Cyrus: a new song called “Secrets,” featuring Fleetwood Mac’s Mick Fleetwood and Lindsey Buckingham.
Billy Ray shared on Instagram, “For my birthday, Miley gave me the gift of music…and got my favorite musicians Fleetwood Mac to play on it!” Miley previously told Monica Lewinsky on her podcast that the song was inspired by the tension in their relationship, which was resolved, saying, “I wanted him to tell me even though there were secrets, even though I didn't really want to know.
I wanted to be the one he felt safe enough to tell.”
Alongside the touching family moment, Billy Ray also released a new remix of his classic hit “Achy Breaky Heart,” which he called a gift to fans.
