Showing he can laugh at himself, Gene Simmons did just that when he saw a cartoon of himself in a hospital bed following his recent car accident. The nurse attending to him says, “Mr. Simmons, you’re lucky to be alive,” to which he responds, “Great. That’ll be $20,000 for the meet & greet.” Responding to it he says, “Oh, I love this cartoon. Ain’t it the truth.”
