Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird” is featured in Budweiser’s new Super Bowl commercial. It shows a young Clydesdale befriending a bald eagle chick, who, as they both grow older, uses the horse’s back as a launching pad for its eventual first flight. At the end, one farmer asks the other if he’s crying upon seeing the eagle take flight, to which he responds, “Sun’s in my eyes.” Super Bowl 60, featuring the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, is February 8th at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
