HAMPSTEAD, N.H. —
A Danville man was arrested Monday after police say they found marijuana in his car.
Selket Taylor, 27, was stopped by Hampstead police for using his cellphone while driving. During the traffic stop, the officer claimed to have observed that Taylor had a bag of marijuana in his cup holder.
Taylor was charged with possession of a controlled drug, transporting a controlled drug in a motor vehicle and use of an electronic mobile device (prohibited).
In a press release, police said: “As a public service announcement – it is illegal to possess recreational marijuana in New Hampshire, even if you only ‘smoke it in Massachusetts.’”
